Derek and Hannah – July 19, 2008

Derek and Hannah were married at The First Presbyterian Church in Pittsford New York and had their reception at The Rabbit Room at The Lower Mill in Honeoye Falls, New York. It was a really fun day with great families and friends gathered to celebrate.

We were luck enough to also photograph Hannah and Derek's engagement session. Since is was deep in the middle of winter and outdoor images were not possible, we took some pictures in our studio.

The church was a little strict with their rules for photographers. They asked us to stay in the choir loft to take pictures of the ceremony. Even though we were not able to be as close as we usually are, we still were able to get some amazing shots of the ceremony.

We had a great time getting pictures of Hannah and Derek and the bridal party. Here are some of our favorites.

The flowers, cake and decorations were beautiful. The color combo's were amazing.

Look at the flower girl and ring bearer..... they look almost like mini-me's

Hannah danced with her dad and then with her step-dad. It was really nice to see both sides of the family included in the celebration.

The maid of honor's toast was a tear jerker. She had everyone in tears and belly laughs..... even me.

Everyone had a great time at the wedding and reception. They all danced way into the night.

Congratulations Hannah and Derek. We wish you both all the best!!

It's great being a kid!

Remember this when you were a kid??

Jack and Kelly - July 20, 2008

Jack and Kelly were married in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at Sweet Briar. They had their reception there as well. It was a beautiful family affair with two people deeply in love.

This picture was a pure accident but I love these kinds of accidents!

Kelly's dress had a touch of old hollywood glam and looked great on her.

The girls are watching the guys arrive. Jack is actually down on  the driveway.

The guys were great. They were all silly, crazy and fun all day. This is the pre-wedding kick line

They guys set up laundry line and used clothes pins to attach pictures of Kelly and Jack for everyone to view during the reception.

Jacks twin - they dressed this little guy to look like Jack.

The groomsmen were in, kaki slacks, white shirts and ties..... and flip flops. It looked great and really reflected Jack and Kelly's easy laid back style.

Kelly walked down the isle with her mom and dad.

They had an amazing gospel band for their ceremony. They were wonderful!

Here is a little slide show of Kelly and Jack dancing back down the isle.

Kelly, her sisters, mom and grandma.

Some of our favorite picks of Jack and Kelly

They guys were a riot at the reception. They all put their ties around their heads and became known as the Tie Club for Men.

... and the girls were not to be out done! Yea girls!!

Congratulations Kelly and Jack. We wish you both all the best and thanks for sharing your day with us.

Angela and Jeremy - June 28, 2008

Angela and Jeremy were married at their own church, Westminster Hall and Chapel, and had their reception at Casa Larga

Their love story is really amazing. Jeremy's parents and Angela's grandparents have lived across the street from each other for over 20 years. Jeremy and Angela met on Brooktree Drive when she was 3 and he was 8. They had their first kiss and first "I love you" on Brooktree.

We photographed their engagement pictures on Brooktree Drive and at Westminster Hall and Chapel

You might be asking..... "Married in their own church??" The most amazing thing about this couple is they decided to buy their own church to get married in! Angela and her mom have done an amazing job renovating Westminster Hall and Chapel. Angela couldn't find a non-denominational chapel for them to get married in so she started looking for a church for sale. They will rent the chapel out for wedding ceremonies and memorial services and rent the banquet hall out for wedding receptions, parties and other events. Angela said "Renovating a chapel is not on the typical to-do list of many brides, but it's been fun."

Here are a few picks from the wedding rehearsal and rehearsal dinner

Grooms cake

We were there bright and early the next day to catch all the excitement. Angela and the girls had just returned to the house from the salon and she discovered her bouquet. She was so happy and giggly.

Angela had amazing shoes for her dress. They matched her flowers perfectly.

The guys got ready at Jeremy's parents house.

Angela, her dad and stepdad moments before they all walked down the isle.

Jeremy and one of his groomsmen moments before they went out to the altar.

After the ceremony Angela and Jeremy came outside to be greeted by their guests and a butterfly release.

We took some group pictures of the bridal party in the Hall.

Here are some favorite picks of the two of them. Jeremy and Angela were a joy to photograph. They were very laid back and up for anything. We got some great picks of them at the church, in the limo and at Casa Larga. They were having so much fun and enjoying the day, it made our job really easy.

Angela danced with her dad first, then Jeremy danced with his mom and then Angela danced with her stepdad.

They both have large extended families and everyone was having a blast at the reception.

Congratulations Jeremy and Angela!!
